Dr Paul Lynch (m)

MB ChB MRCGP (1976) Dr Lynch graduated from Manchester University in 1976 and joined the practice as a partner in 1983. He offers a full range of general practice care and has special interest in child health, diabetes and dermatology.

 

 

 


Dr Cruz Augustine (m)

Dr AugustineMBBS, MRCGP, MRCP - Dr Augustine graduated in the year 2000 from Madras, India and did his hospital training at Blackpool Victoria Hospital since 2002 in specialities including medicine, paediatrics and emergency medicine. He joined the practice in 2007 and has a diverse medical interest with special interests in cardiac disease, diabetes, epilepsy, child health, family planning and minor surgery. Along with Dr Lynch, he is a trainer and mentor for trainee doctors. 

 


Dr Jessica Rose (f)

Dr Rose qualified from Leicester University in 2002. She joined the practice in 2009 and recently became a partner.

Her specialist interests include women’s health, family planning, asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions.

 


Dr Caroline Gouges (f)

Dr Caroline GougesMBBS (2000) Dr Gouges offers a full range of general practice care to her patients and has been with the surgery since 2006. She has special interest in mental health and child health.

 

 


Dr Munish Ahluwalia (m)

Dr MunishMRCGP, MBBS, MS (ENT), DRCOG

Dr Ahluwalia has recently joined the practice and brings with him a variety of skills and special interests, which include minor surgery, joint injections, palliative care, ear, nose & throat (ENT) problems and diabetes.

 

 


Lynn Sutcliffe - Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Lynn SutcliffeRGN 1988; BSc (Hons) Psychology 1997; BSc (Hons) Nurse Practitioner 2006; Independent Nurse Prescriber 2006; Asthma Diploma 2002; COPD Diploma 2006; CHD  Diploma 2007; Post Graduate certificate Advanced Practice 2009.

Formerly a Community Matron within Blackpool, Lynn has many years experience working with people who have multiple long term health problems and supporting them to avoid hospital admission.  Lynn has a background in orthopaedic trauma and a special interest in women’s health, older adult’s health, falls prevention and osteoporosis.

She is a fully-qualified prescribing nurse and will see patients and give advice in the same way as our doctors do.
